This design is a part of the “Planktonic” collection inspired by marine planktonic life forms.
Planktonic life forms are the small, or microscopic, organisms that drift or swim in a body of water.


Planktonic life forms are the small, or microscopic, organisms that drift or swim in a body of water.
Since most of our planet is covered in water, plankton are key to the health of our oceans and the ecosystems that rely on them.
This design is fashioned after a planktonic creature named lagena auriculata. Lagena, belonging to the Foraminifera family (or forams) has an external shell made of assorted materials and is constructed in different forms. These creatures can form one or many chambers, some becoming quite elaborate in structure. This design features striking pendants and animalistic rings (as well as other items), expressing the natural flow of marine life’s.
This design is a part of the Planktonic collection, and is available as matching brooch rings, necklace and earrings.
